Background and Experience
Jeremy is a business and corporate law attorney, who serves as outside counsel to new and established social enterprises, startups, and nonprofits in California. Jeremy has advised his clients on a range of matters, including company formations, founders share issuance, nonprofit governance, business transactions, and intellectual property matters.
Before starting his law practice, Jeremy conducted legal research for judges of the San Mateo County Superior Court, and later worked with a plaintiffs-side litigation firm in the Bay Area. As a law clerk with a disability rights organization located in the East Bay, Jeremy assisted in successfully litigating a class action case to a settlement with the federal government on behalf of persons living with visual impairment.
Jeremy earned his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, where he worked on community issues concerning educational access and environmental justice. He later earned his law degree from UCLA School of Law. During law school, Jeremy served as Chief Comments Editor of the Asian Pacific American Law Journal, and studied areas of law that are important to him: community economic development, corporations, and civil rights.
